MzKettles BBQ Chicken N’ Ribs

Opening its doors in the summer of 2017, MzKettle’s BBQ Chicken N’ Ribs has brought award-winning, melt-in-your-mouth barbecue and comforting Southern sides to the Fruitvale district of Oakland. If you are a lover of barbecue, you must try their beef brisket and pork ribs. They are incredible.

There are four plate options to choose from that include a barbecue entree such as brisket, ribs, hot links, or chicken. Three of the plate options come with a side. Sides include potato salad, yams, collard greens, baked beans, and mac n’ cheese. The Mini Plate is an order of meat with no sides. The Sandwich Plate includes meat, a side of potato salad and two slices of bread. Order Plates come with your choice of meat, 1 oz of hot or mild BBQ sauce, bread, and a side. The Dinner Plate is the Order Plate plus an additional side.

Want to try more than one type of barbecue? Order a combo plate. The combo plate is the dinner plate with the option to add up to three extra servings of meat. Order the 4-Way Combo Plate, and sample all that MzKettle’s has on the menu. Don’t forget to order dessert! Southern favorites like banana pudding, peach cobbler, and sweet potato pie are the perfect way to end your dining experience.

The easiest way to get to MzKettle’s is to drive there. Street parking is free and easy to find. Orders are taken at the counter, and are prepared to go, but you can choose to eat in.
