Mien Tay

Mien Tay is a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant that sits in Oakland’s San Antonio district. This small eatery has indoor and outdoor seating, as well as speedy take-out service. What makes this eatery unique from other Vietnamese restaurants in the area is that their specialty is a House Special Noodle Soup, rather than pho. The House Special Noodle Soup is a fish broth based soup recipe with pork and shrimp. The recipe comes from Trà Vinh in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.

Looking for something light to snack on? Their shrimp or pork spring rolls are sure to hit the spot with the delicious peanut dipping sauce. They also serve refreshing boba drinks and young coconut juice!
