Inside of the Rockridge Market Hall is the Marin Sun Farms Butcher Shop. Marin Sun Farms is a sustainable farm in Point Reyes. It is owned by third generation farmers, and it has been operating since 1999.
They have the last USDA inspected slaughter house in the SF Bay Area. Their meats are local, pasture raised, and grass fed and come from a variety of small farms in the area. The butcher shop offers several cuts of a wide variety of meats. Along with high quality meats like beef, chicken, and lamb, they have an amazing selection of house made sausage and bacon! Their duck sausage or their rabbit sausage are both very popular.
Bone broth and pork lard are also always available at Marin Sun Farms Butcher Shop, as well as Certified Organic eggs. You can also serve your dog an amazing diet of sustainably raised protein with their raw pet food. It is available in the refrigerator with the stocks and rendered fats.
The Rockridge Market Hall has a 2-hour free parking lot in the rear, as well as metered street parking. The Rockridge BART station is right across the street, as well as an AC Transit bus stop.
