Gregory’s Gourmet Desserts

Gregory’s carries all of your favorite crave-worthy treats including cakes, pies & cobblers, cookies, and so much more! For those with a sweet tooth and dietary restrictions, Gregory’s offers a vegan cheesecake, as well as a gluten free cookie option.

The bakery came to fruition thanks to a man with a sweet tooth that could not be satisfied and a cookbook gifted to him by his wife. With no formal training, Gregory began baking his own desserts to satisfy his own cravings. His talents did not go unrecognized, and in 1999 he opened his bakery in Uptown Oakland.

Some of Gregory’s most noteworthy desserts include his peach cobbler, cheesecake, and key lime pie. For cakes and pies, it is best to pre-order a day ahead. Walk-in customers can choose from a variety of freshly made cookies and breakfast scones. Brighten up your co-workers’ day and bring in some sweet and tangy lemon bars. Or, pick up one of the shop’s seasonal pies for your next holiday gathering.

The shop is located on 23rd St near Harrison St. Parking in the neighborhood is metered street. There are also several AC Transit lines that stop nearby, as well as the 19th St BART. Stop in during regular business hours for a sweet pick me up or a special treat for the family!
