Goodwill of the Greater East Bay opened a brand new store at the Durant Square in December 2017. Goodwill is a long-standing nonprofit chain with a range of pre-owned clothing, furniture, housewares and more.
The organization began in 1919, and they have always stayed true to their mission, by turning donations into jobs. Goodwill is open daily, so come by and drop off your donations to support this new location. The shop is clean and well-organized. You are sure to find a treasure to take home! Goodwill offers those ages 55 and older a 25% off discount every Wednesday, and they offer military members and veterans a 25% off discount every Thursday. This location also has new merchandise for sale.
This location is also a Career Center, accepting drop-ins from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They have a six month apprentice program as well as part-time job opportunities.
