Factory 44 West

Custom framing store that also showcases local art and home decor.

Located in the easily accessible Jingletown district, Factory 44 West is a custom picture framing boutique that works with all art forms, from paintings to 3D multimedia. Owners Genevieve and Ceppi offer a wide range of artistic and unconventional closed corner frames that beautifully highlight what is special about each piece of art.

Factory 44 West has over 800 corner samples to choose from. One of their specialties is reclaimed wood framing. Reclaimed wood is obtained from local industrial sites, including the demolished Pacific Bridge Company and Jingletown’s own Johnasing Ironworks. 24-karat gold leaf water gilded frames are another specialty offered here. Water gilding is a delicate process that creates a stunning and elegant result. Regular framing services has a two-week turnaround, and water gilded work takes six to eight weeks. Check out examples of their amazing work on Instagram @factory44west.

Customers enjoy being part of the design process and being introduced to unique frame designs. For a rustic yet chic look, take advantage of their work with reclaimed wood. With a Master’s Degree in Fine Art, Genevieve uses her eye for design to help you find the perfect frame to make your art come alive. Ceppi is responsible for creating your custom frame. He is a closed corner framer who is trained in traditional hand carved frame making and gold leafing.

Along with quality framing services, Factory 44 West showcases a rotation of local artists and makers in their showroom and offer a selection of eclectic home decor and collector’s items. They also create gorgeous custom furniture made from reclaimed wood. Their motto is “We can build anything,” so bring your creative ideas to Factory 44 West and turn them into reality!
