ESQUELETO

Carefully selected and one of a kind jewelry, art, and home decor crafted by local makers.

ESQUELETO is a boutique that offers fine jewelry, home goods, and natural objects such as crystals and fossils.

Lauren Wolf is the owner of ESQUELETO. She is a jewelry designer by trade and has extensive experience in jewelry production. Her jewelry line is called Lauren Wolf Jewelry. The line can be found in several stores across the nation. Her designs are fresh and spectacular, while also being respectful of the natural beauty from the materials. ESQUELETO also carries the work of other jewelry designers that has been handpicked by Lauren herself. She always makes sure to select the unique and edgy pieces.

In 2011, after nearly a decade of experience in jewelry design, Lauren opened the original ESQUELETO store in Oakland’s Temescal Alley. A second store was opened in Los Angeles in 2015. This woman-owned business is best known for its selection of unique engagement rings and ethically minded sourcing practices. Here, you will find a tightly curated selection of one of a kind and hard to find pieces that meet Kimberley Process Certification requirements. The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme requires that rough diamonds shipped to the jeweler are certifiably conflict free. Along with ethically sourced gemstones, Lauren Wolf’s jewelry is locally made with recycled metals.

The shop features a rotating art exhibit that includes both local and national artists. You can learn about featured artists here. The store is also a purveyor of breathtaking handmade goods including rugs, candles, and home décor. Follow ESQUELETO on Instagram @shopesqueleto to get a first look at new and exciting items. You should also make a trip to the store to see all of the beautifully-crafted goods that ESQUELETO has to offer.

There is free parking in the Walgreens shopping center on Telegraph and 51st St. Free parking can also be found on the residential side streets off of Telegraph Avenue. The Temescal district is extremely bike and pedestrian friendly with ample bike parking.
