E14 Gallery

E14 Gallery is an art gallery and gift shop that showcases the values of Oakland: community, culture, resistance, and resilience. These values are displayed through a carefully curated selection of artwork and artisan goods created primarily by local artists. The gallery features artwork from master artists who are people of color.

E14 Gallery came to be in November of 2016 when owner, Vivianna, was offered a space in the historic Old Oakland district. It began as a collaborative project with the East Side Arts Alliance. When the East Side Arts Alliance no longer had the capacity to commit to the gallery, Vivianna took it on as her passion project. Since it’s conception, the gallery has moved to a cozier space across the street from it’s original location. Though the location is smaller, you are offered the same culturally focused experience through locally focused exhibits and events.

Here, you will find the works of several locally and nationally known artist including Shomari Smith and DignidadRebelde. There is also a great selection of locally made clothing, jewelry, and crafts. Along with great artwork and gifts, E14 hosts a variety of community centered events, workshops, and book readings.
