Chanco Houseware & Restaurant supply is a family-owned business run by the friendly husband and wife team Jimmy and Sandra Lam. Located in Chinatown, the 10,000 square-foot store carries huge selections of both professional and budget bakeware, dishware, kitchen gadgets from around the world.

After years of experience in the housewares and kitchenware industry as a wholesale buyer, Sandra decided to start her own retail store with her husband in 2014. For culinary enthusiasts, Chanco is a wonderland filled with neatly arranged shelves displaying almost every kitchenware a cook could ever ask for, from fish-shaped cake molds to bamboo steamers. Chanco boasts a collection of white and patterned crockery that is second to none in the Bay Area, and most of the items are sourced from China and Japan. Among the incredible 10,000 items offered by Chanco are products by major brands such as Bodum, Glasslock, Nordicware, Zojirushi, Tiger, and Zak.

Located at 410 7th Street, Chanco is steps away from the 7th St: Franklin AC Transit stop, and 12th Street BART station is also just short walk away. Limited street parking is available, but there is free one-hour underground parking for purchases over $20.
