Benjie’s Tailoring and Alterations is owned and operated by Theodore Ford. Theodore is a professional dressmaker from Trinidad with over 43 years of experience.

Benjie has worked as a tailor for two different shop owners, and he is now the proud owner of this shop in the Fairfax district. He specializes in sewing custom designs. He creates costumes for MasMakers Massive which is a cultural dance group from indigenous Trinidad. He also works with church groups to make choir robes and praise team outfits, and he even makes dresses for women. Benjie prides himself on providing personalized services to all of his customers.
