Dr. Arora is the owner, and head optometrist at Bay Vision Eyecare. She purchased the 80 year old business 10 years ago and loves the diversity that Oakland residents and visitors have to offer. She is an East Bay native, and she gives back to the community through special events such as free Community Vision Screenings on the first Wednesday of every month. Dr. Arora received her doctorate degree, as well as her TPA certification from the Illinois School of Optometry. She also has an advanced Glaucoma Certification from UC Berkeley. She has a wonderful chair-side manner, and will carefully asses your vision needs with the most up to date and high tech methods available. She is careful to explain each step so that there is transparency between her and the patients.

Prescriptions can be filled in office and lenses are fabricated onsite, making the process quick and easy. In fact, Bay Vision Eyecare is the only office in the Bay Area that allows you to walk out with new lenses on the same day as your exam!
