Peter’s Kettle Corn began as a passion project by two brothers whose love for kettle corn dates back to their childhood. John and Peter’s first experience with kettle corn was at the local fairgrounds. The perfect combination of salty and sweet inspired the brothers to experiment with their own flavor profiles. After a short trial and error period, they concocted a perfect recipe using quality ingredients. What started as a hobby that was shared with friends and family grew organically from a few pop-ups a month to the opening of their brick and mortar space in Oakland’s Laurel district.
Today, Peter’s Kettle Corn is a popular treat that has a wide following. Along with the classic kettle corn, Peter’s Kettle Corn has a variety of popcorn flavors that rotate weekly. Some popular flavors include cheddar bacon, cookies and cream, and Saigon cinnamon sugar. You can even mix your popcorn to create popular flavor combinations like the Chicago style mix, which is a combination of cheddar and caramel. To see their current in-store flavors, click here. You can also order your popcorn online, here.
In addition to retail popcorn, Peter’s Kettle Corn offers a variety of services including on-site popping for personal and corporate events. They also do special event packaging including specialty boxes, bags, and even cones filled with popcorn! Getting married?
