Ben N’ Nick’s Bar & Grill

Ben N’ Nick’s Bar & Grill is a casual restaurant and bar located in the Rockridge District. They have been serving juicy burgers, cold craft brews, and signature cocktails since 1997.

The restaurant is designed to feel like a neighborhood pub with warm wood fixtures, quirky wall décor, and a mix of bar, table, and booth seating. Adding to the communal pub vibe, Ben N’ Nick’s hosts fun events such as karaoke on Saturday evenings and Tuesday Trivia. The trivia is sponsored by various local brewing companies. Both weekly events are a perfect way to meet your neighbors and to entertain visiting friends and family.

The food at Ben N’ Nick’s is described as pub food, but it definitely has a gourmet twist. They use fresh and local ingredients in every meal. Lunch and dinner are served between 11:30 AM and 10:00 PM Saturday through Thursday, and 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, they serve a brunch menu between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM that includes favorites like chicken & waffles and breakfast tachos, which are tater tots topped with nacho fixings and a fried egg. Ben N’ Nick’s has a full bar where they serve cocktails, beer, and wine. They have a rotating selection of craft beers on draft, several of which come from local breweries. The craft beer list can be found on a chalk board to the right of the bar. You can also order bottles of domestic and international beers. This restaurant is conveniently located across the street from Rockridge BART. It is also an extremely walkable and bikeable neighborhood with several bike racks in front of the business. There is metered street parking along College Avenue, as well as 2 and 4-hour free parking along the residential side streets.
