They also have nourishing personal care products including bathing salts, moisturizers, and pomades, as well as alchemy products such as tinctures and essential oils.

Rare Bird is a space that celebrates the interaction between art and community. They have a gallery show that is open to the public every three months that showcases local artists. They also host free classes and events, all of which can be found here.
Parking in the area is a combination of metered street parking and hourly paid garage or lot. There is some free parking on the residential side streets, but parking is limited to two hours. The 57 bus stops at MacArthur and Piedmont, and 51 A bus stop on 40th and Broadway, near Piedmont Ave. There is a Kaiser shuttle that will take you from MacArthur BART to the Kaiser medical facility, which is two blocks away from the shop.
