Snow White Coffee Bar

Snow White Coffee Bar is a locally owned coffee shop that has been serving exceptional coffee drinks in a converted alterations shop on Piedmont Avenue since 2016. This small café supports local businesses, and serves Roast Co coffee which is roasted in West Oakland. They also serve Starter pastries, which is an Emeryville based bakery.

The menu at Show White Coffee bar is similar to those you would see at other third wave coffee shops. Hand brewed coffee is brewed using the V60 pour over method. Espresso drinks are also offered, and well-crafted. Alex, the owner of Snow White Coffee, is a fantastic multi-tasker. Watch him brew a pour over while simultaneously pulling espresso and steaming milk. He is a master of his craft ensuring that your latte milk is creamy and consistent. Not in the mood for a hot drink? Try the nitro or still cold brew coffee. It gives you the kick you need to start your day, without the acidity associated with hot brewed coffee.

Snow White Coffee Bar is not only great for coffee drinkers. They serves Five Mountains Tea, ice cream and kid friendly drinks such as the Bellaccino. The Bellaccino was created by Alex’s daughter, and it consists of steamed milk with chocolate powder sprinkled on top. Whatever you order, it will be made with care. The coffee shop itself is small, and does not have seating. There is counter space to stand and enjoy your drink, and on nice days you will find outdoor seating next to the shop. If you don’t mind the limited seating, you are welcome to hang out, converse with other patrons, or take advantage of the free WiFi and complete some work.

All drinks are served in to go cups, but you can purchase Snow White Coffee mugs, as well as ceramic mugs that are handmade by Alex’s mother. Parking in the area is a mix of metered street and 2 hour free parking.
