Roses’ Taproom is a beautiful microbrewery located in the heart of the Temescal district. It is a husband and wife operation that opened its doors in July of 2017. It has been a popular local hang out ever since! All beer served at Roses’ Taproom is made in house, with eight brews on tap at a time. To see what is currently on tap, check here. They also serve charcuterie and bar snacks. A sample list of provisions can be found here.

Enjoy your one-of-a-kind beer in their lovely taproom. The pale peach walls and aqua blue tiling are delicate and bright. Along with bar seating, there are tables that can accommodate several people. You can also find seating out front if you would prefer to sip your brew in the sunshine. This location is family friendly, so don’t hesitate to stop in on a weekend afternoon while running errands with the kids.

Unsure of which amazing beer to try first? Order the flight, and sample all that Roses’ Taproom has to offer. If you find one that you love, take some home! Roses’ offers growlers and even cans of some of their brews so that you can enjoy their beer while in the comfort of your own home. You can also order kegs for your next private event. If you are a regular at Roses’ Taproom, join the Mug Club. The membership costs $30 per month and includes discounts on pints, exclusive access to new brew releases, and a one of a kind mug that is created by local artists. The mug is held in the shop while you’re a member and is yours to take home if you end your membership. Every Tuesday, members get a free pour of Roses’ latest release.

Parking in the Temescal district can be difficult. There is metered street parking along Telegraph. 2-hour free parking can be found on the residential side streets, as well as free parking in the Walgreens parking lot across the street. The area is extremely bike friendly with plenty of bike racks. There are several AC Transit lines that stop along Telegraph and 51st St, and MacArthur BART is a 15 minute walk away.
