Coloso Coffee

Having first opened its doors to the Oakland public in 2014 in Downtown Oakland, Coloso Coffee now calls Old Oakland’s historic Swan’s Market home.

Currently serving beans from Heart Coffee Roasters, a Portland favorite, Coloso specializes in batch-brewed drip coffee and espresso drinks, along with several milk options such as Clover milk, soy milk, and almond milk. Aside from coffee drinks, they also offer teas and hot chocolate to people who want less caffeine intake. They also partner with Bon Bon Bakeshop and La Chinoiserie Bakeshop to serve pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.

This popular indie coffee shop maintained its minimalist décor while embracing a bigger space with a 12-seat polished, white communal table, which matches with the white walls, ceiling, and lighting fixtures. At the end of the communal table stands a 6-level retail shelf, displaying a selection of rainbow-colored coffee beans from Heart Coffee Roasters. The long bar table facing windows provides a perfect location for serious people-watching. The simple, white-themed interior gives soothing, clean, and modern vibes, creating a relaxing environment for coffee consumption.

Coloso Coffee is a perfect stop for your shopping stroll in the charming Old Oakland neighborhood. The beautiful store space can also serve as a venue for community or private events. The shop is easily accessible via BART or car. The 12th Street Bart station is a short walk away and metered street parking is easy to find.
