7th Street Cafe, also known as Revolution Cafe, is a community-run space that offers delicious pour-over coffee in a quiet work space by day, and fun events and live shows by night. Located in West Oakland’s historical Jazz and Blues District, 7th Street Cafe gives the neighborhood a safe and inclusive gathering space to share ideas and tackle the pressing issues in the neighborhood.

As a community-run space, 7th Street Cafe is powered by volunteers who are from the neighborhood. It has been a labor of love that has sustained itself on community support. In return, 7th Street Cafe invests in the community by supporting local artists, offering their space for local events and creating an entertainment hub for West Oakland. Popular events that occur at 7th Street Cafe include Open Mic Night on Wednesdays and Smoke Sesh Sundays.
